In cooperation with the Liebherr works agency for cable excavators in Hamburg, we have jointly developed an armored glazing for the new cab of the HS 8040 to HS 8300 in the course of a customer project.
The objective was to maintain the optimized visibility of the new cabin and to reversibly integrate the reinforced frame for the bulletproof glass into the cabin structure.

The installation of our armored glazing is also recommended for other operations outside of explosive ordnance disposal, as it offers a significantly higher level of protection for the driver compared to standard glazing.

Our bulletproof glazing blends harmoniously with the design of the machine and causes virtually no obstruction to the driver's view.

The integrated sunshield not only braces the frame structure, but also keeps the upper part of the windshield dry in case of rain and provides space for two worklights.
