Superior armouring for large wheel loaders

This wheel loader conversion is designed for medium and large wheel loaders. It is mounted on the front carriage and is firmly bolted to it.
The maximum technical width of the bullet-proof glass pane is utilised to effectively protect the cabin against shattering.
The upper deflector plate, which can be removed for transport, effectively protects the driver against punctures through the roof even when the bucket is raised.
The armour can also be equipped with a windscreen wiper on both sides.
This concept protects the driver even when the front end is turned in, as the protective conversion rotates with the front end and is thus always positioned parallel to the bucket.
However, due to the open design towards the cabin, this type of armour has only a low protective effect against explosion pressure.
The armour has bullet protection class BR 6S and explosion class ER 0.

The rear overlap of the armour to the front of the vehicle is clearly visible. This avoids ballistic holes. A step with handrail was mounted here as an accessory.

The good shading of the large bullet-proof glass is clearly visible. In addition, the driver's view is hardly impaired.

As the armouring on the front carriage also swivels, the lateral cover to the driver is ensured even when the wheel loader is driven into the ground.

The picture shows the shell of the armour. The load-bearing part of the armour is made of 12 mm folded sheet steel.

1. quick-change attachment armour for small and medium-sized wheel loaders. Suitable for wheel loaders where it is possible to extend the pins of the lifting mast and the lifting cylinder outwards by approx. 30 mm and thus attach them to the wheel loader using the patent-pending quick-assembly device. The large-area cover of the front armour provides good protection against splinters, for example when working with the screening unit. The protection is still effective when the loader is retracted because it rides on the mast. The protection class corresponds to ER 6 S/NS. However, due to the open design, the protection against explosion pressure is only low and is therefore classified as ER 0. With some wheel loaders it is necessary to limit the steering angle.
2. detachable additional upper 12mm mudguard
3.double shaft wiper module 12/24V with sheet metal cladding
Surcharge for armoured glass on top with polycabonate of bullet class BR 6NS. For small wheel loaders with low payloads (less than 360 kg), this option must be ordered for weight reasons.
5.surcharge for bullet-proof glass panes at the bottom, with polycabonate, of bullet-proof class BR 6NS.
6. holder for headlamp
7. all-round window frame 4mm sheet metal on top
8. 4mm all-round window frame at bottom right and left.
