We are team players. In the case of extensive protective conversions, it always makes sense to involve your authorised dealer in the project, because often the support of the manufacturer is also required for the realisation of your project.
In addition, some conversion concepts have been specially developed with the manufacturers for their machines and can therefore only be obtained from their authorised dealers. Should you ever have any requests for changes to these concepts, these can be made by us at any time in consultation with the manufacturers.
Digitisation with the latest scanning technology
The customised production of armouring for construction machinery begins with a measurement of your machinery that is accurate to the millimetre. This is important to ensure the highest precision and fitting accuracy of the components later on. To meet this high standard, we use modern laser scanners. These scan the cabin contours and generate a digital image.
Surface reconstruction from the 3D scan data
These 3D scan files are then the basis for the actual planning by our engineers. With our experience in this field, we are able to design armouring for all kinds of construction machinery in CAD on the computer. One advantage of this method is the visualisation. You are welcome to take a look at the finished component in a realistic representation even before production begins.
*SOS* - You need a quick armouring for your construction machine?
If you want to use the equipment before the final assembly can take place, we will install universal armouring for you. This offers sufficient protection and is usually quickly adaptable and available for various construction machines. This means that you can already use the armoured excavator, wheel loader or other construction equipment while the customised armour is still in production. This gives us the time we need to carefully plan and design your armour in peace and quiet.

From planning to production
The next step is the production of the armoured cabin. Since we offer the entire process from a single source - i.e. measuring, planning and manufacturing - the process is as time-efficient as possible.
In addition, the developers are in close contact with the production department, so that every move can be planned in advance.
This not only ensures short construction times, but also ensures the highest level of quality.

Final assembly on the construction machine
When all components have been manufactured, the assembly of the cabin takes place. Depending on the make, type and design of the armouring, the work takes place directly on the unit or initially only on the cabin.
This is usually done in the workshop of your authorised dealer or in your own workshop, as a crane is required for the installation. In addition, we also use the initial assembly to train authorised dealer employees for the installation of protective conversions.
Based on our experience with all major manufacturers, installation is quick and safe. We often use tried and tested procedures for this.
In any case, the final quality assurance and acceptance take place - then the armoured construction machine is ready for use.

Conversions for excavators and wheel bearings of all kinds
Panzerglaserei is experienced in the conception, planning and assembly of various conversions. We have applied for patent protection for many solutions and concepts. We use this knowledge for the realisation of new projects. For example, we can offer the following special solutions:

- Complete conversion of the cabin with secure mounting also for military applications
- Customised attachment armour
- Fixed bulletproof glass for construction machinery but also for other applications, such as in building technology or safety in production machinery and plants.
Almost all the concepts you see on our pages can usually be transferred to other vehicles or models from other manufacturers. For example, if you like a certain attachment armour for CAT construction machines, a similar element can be realised for Liebherr, Volvo, etc.
Concept development
Find the support you need.
In some cases, there are such unique requirements that a custom-made product becomes necessary. In this case we are really in our element, we love a challenge. Together with you, we first determine which specifications the customised armoured cabin must meet. Then we create a concept for a new type of customised cabin armour that implements precisely these requirements. For example, this could be a specific explosion protection class or a compact design. Or do you want to use the armoured construction vehicle in ice and snow? Then we will integrate a windscreen heater. Or does the armouring have to be compatible with other protective conversions, such as a ROPS FOPS roof and grille. You will rarely hear us say "No way!" - you will only very rarely hear from us, because we usually find a suitable solution for everything.
In this context, we would like to announce that we have entered into a cooperation with Wolf GmbH at Nord Bau. Therefore, in the future it will be possible for us to fall back on the proven concepts of Wolf GmbH, especially for combination solutions with FOPS and bullet-proof glass. This will open up cost-effective and high-quality solutions that we can offer together.
