Excavator conversion from 1.6t as fixed or front armouring
Front armour from 1.6t

This armour was specially developed for mini-excavators and is characterised by a very flat design. However, it can also be used on larger machines. The armouring can be dismantled as attachment armouring or screwed and glued to the cab as fixed installation. In both variants, the floor armour and the upper armour are connected to each other with the aid of two special fastening elements to increase safety. The armour is made of 12 and 8 mm folded steel. The armour has bullet protection class BR 6 NS and explosion class ER 2.
The protective conversion is also available with a lighter frame made of 4mm sheet steel and polycarbonate screen for forestry.
Assembly

The mounting is carried out at the factory fixing points of the cabin. Due to the flat design, the original front grille can be mounted additionally in some cases. (However, this option must be checked in each individual case and taken into account in the design).

The attachment of the floor armour and the special connecting elements that elastically connect both parts of the armour can be seen clearly.
Windscreen wiper

With this type of armouring, the original wiper motor can continue to be used in most cases.
