NordBau 2025: Panzerglaserei presents the world's first 360-degree armoring for Mecalac AS 1600
Neumünster, September 2025 - Panzerglaserei successfully concluded its appearance at NordBau 2025 with a full stand and lively interest from the construction and security sectors. The focus was on an innovation that impressed trade visitors and decision-makers alike: the factory armoring of the Mecalac AS 1600 swivel wheel loader, designed for both civil and military applications.
The solution offers all-round 360-degree armoring in accordance with Stanag protection levels 1 to 3, making the wheel loader a fully protected operational vehicle for the first time - from explosive ordnance clearance to special civil engineering.
